Academic Goals: I would like to study something that is involved with an Athletes Wellbeing whether thats helping an Athletes wellbeing physically by studying to become a physiotherapist or helping an Athletes mental wellbeing by studying to become a Sports Psychologist. Another passion of mine that I would like to study and discover is graphic designing allowing me to create art for sports teams and marketing them to gain popularity.
College Goals:Having a busy life as a High School Athlete, juggling both my Academics and Athletics has allowed me to realize how important organization and time-management skills are. These skills have allowed me to achieve success in both aspects of my life, from achieving good grades to performing at large state and national championships. I believe this skill of mine will allow me to transition successfully into the College life. By showing the organization and high success in both aspects of my life I wish to be a role-model and leaders to others in my team to push them to also better themselves and be successful. I also wish to discover more about myself with my teammates and peers, growing together with them to also better myself as a person and a Student-Athlete.
Life Goals: My life goal is to be happy with whatever I decide to do in the future. For me that life goal can be achieved by becoming a professional track and field Athlete.
Why do you want to compete in College ? I want to compete in College as it offers me a chance to compete with some of the best Athletes in the world while receiving world class coaching and training in amazing facilities while still receiving an amazing education that betters me as a Student Athlete all together.
What makes you different ? I believe that my versatility as an Athlete is what makes me different to other Long & Triple Jumpers is that due to my history as a Multi Event Athlete, I can compete in a multitude of other disciplines such as Sprints, Hurdles and Javelin, Shot Put, Heptathlon. As both a Student Athlete I have an incredible work-ethic and drive to be the best no matter what and find motivation even in the lowest parts of life and bounce back to become a better Student Athlete.
